It flows really well, and is still mainly a race part. There is a Hemi Head Conversion for the 440 called the Stage V Hemi. No stock parts fit them, and they are expensive! The Brodix B-1 T/S (Totally Serious) heads were designed for Pro-Stock motors that rev 9,000+ RPM. There are several good heads, but it depends on your application. I didn't feel the Edelbrocks were going to give me the HP I am after (650 on pump gas or mixed gas), and I couldn't justify the extra expense of the 440-1 or the B1 especially consifering rebuying intake and carb system. I recently decided on the Indy SRs as the best balance of big power potential, streetable, cost, allow me to use my six pak, etc. The Edelbrock are still pretty good and are 'stock replacement', about same as Indy SR out of the box, are very well priced, but do not have the potential of the Indy heads. The Indy SR are a 'stock replacement' and can be ported pretty close to the Indy 440-1, but you can use stock style intakes, valvetrain, headers. The Indy 440-1 or similar are almost as good, still very serious for a street car, still require special intake and headers. They also require a B1 intake, special headers, valvetrain, etc. They have the most power potential, but very few people use them on the street.
